Install guide
Install your travel eSIM before takeoff
Use the email instructions while you still have reliable Wi-Fi. Once installed, keep the eSIM on your phone and switch data to it when you are ready to connect abroad.
A simple install flow
-
1. Open your email
Find the eSIM email after checkout and keep it available on another screen if you are scanning a QR code.
-
2. Add the eSIM
Use your phone settings to add a mobile plan or eSIM. Scan the QR code, or enter the details manually if your instructions provide them.
-
3. Label the line
Name the line something clear like Travel eSIM so you know which mobile data line to choose later.
-
4. Connect abroad
When you are ready to use it, select the eSIM for mobile data and turn on data roaming for that eSIM line.
Troubleshooting basics
If it does not connect straight away
Do not delete the eSIM first
Deleting an eSIM can make troubleshooting harder. Keep it installed unless support specifically tells you otherwise.
Check the data line
Confirm the eSIM is selected as your mobile data line and that data roaming is turned on for that eSIM.
Refresh the connection
Try toggling airplane mode off and on, or restart your phone to force a fresh network connection.
Contact support with useful details
If it still fails, email support with your order email, destination, phone model, and what you see on screen.
